Farm Bureau Insurance Partners with Joe Gibbs Racing
Insurer to Serve as Primary Sponsor of the #18 Nationwide Entry

Huntersville, N.C. (November 7, 2007) -  Joe Gibbs Racing announces it has entered into a sponsorship agreement with Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company of Jackson, Mississippi for the 2008 racing season. Farm Bureau Insurance will make its initial entrance into NASCAR as a primary sponsor of the #18 Nationwide Series team. The announcement was made today by J.D. Gibbs, President of Joe Gibbs Racing, and E.J. Trosclair, Vice President Agency Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company. 

“We are very excited to have Farm Bureau Insurance as a new partner,” said Gibbs in making the announcement.  “We’re anxious to help teach our fans about Farm Bureau and raise awareness for their life, property and casualty insurance products and services.  Their entry into this sport comes during an exciting time at Joe Gibbs Racing.”

The Farm Bureau Insurance #18 car will make its debut at Atlanta followed by events at Darlington, Kentucky, Daytona, Richmond and Texas. The driver lineup will consist of Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano.

“We’re going to give their agents, members and customers something to get excited about,” said Gibbs. “They have been a great group to work with and the Gibbs Racing family and our race team are excited about this partnership.  We want nothing more than to get them into victory lane.”
