September is Life Insurance Awareness Month.

  • Only 4 in 10 American adults own individual life insurance.
  • 68 million American adults have NO life insurance whatsoever.
  • Most with coverage need more than they have.

Don’t be a statistic.

September is . . . Life Insurance Awareness Month.

Each September the life insurance industry comes together to emphasize the need for life insurance in America’s families. By concentrating our efforts at one time, agents, companies and industry associations make the American public aware of what life insurance can do for a family at a difficult time.

The purpose of Life Insurance Awareness Month is to encourage Americans to take stock of their individual life insurance needs and to help the millions of uninsured and underinsured Americans obtain the coverage they need to protect their families. Life Insurance Awareness Month is sponsored by LIFE, the Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education, and over 100 insurance companies and insurance associations. Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company is a proud supporter of Life Insurance Awareness Month.
